About  Jade  and Audrey Nujen

B1_eBook-cover (1).jpg

Jade Nujen was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and moved to the United States when she was a kid. Jade and her mom reunited with her father and siblings in Detroit, Michigan, after many years of being separated. When Jade arrived to the United States, she realized that many challenges were awaiting her;  she had to get reacquainted with her father and siblings, overcome the language barrier, and adapt to a new culture. Jade holds a bachelor degree in Chemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for several years, until she had her children. When Jade was a little girl in Vietnam, she was passionate about reading, writing and hoped to become a writer someday. Now that her children are getting older, Jade has decided to pursue her dream and recently published her first non-fiction children’s book “Goodbye Tropical Weather and Hello Winter”. Jade enjoys reading books, outdoor activities with her family, crafting and playing music.

Audrey    started reading at an early   age and   discovered a passion for books.  She is an   avid reader   and   loves to   read whenever    she has the chance. Audrey fell in love with the    Harry   Potter series when she was in 3rd grade, and   couldn't stop reading    them   over and over again. She    is currently in 5th grade and enjoys activities such as crafting, coloring, readingmath,   and of   course   writing books.  Audrey also   enjoys  being  with   her dog   Paco. In case you are wondering, Paco is a mix of Beauceron and Lab.   Her favorite outdoor activities include walking, bicycling, playing on her swing set and  roasting smores on her fire pit. In the Winter she enjoys skiing, sledding, and snowball fights with her family and friends. Like her mother, Audrey plays the piano,  and the violin!  To see her  playing the piano and violin check out her YouTube    channel.

I ordered this eBook, because I thought it would be a perfect book for my little brother and I to read together. When you search the title and click on it, it had the option to preview the book and images. As soon as I hit the button and I looked at the pictures, I instantly fell in love with the book. When my little brother and I read it he loved looking at the pictures. This book was such a great read and I can't wait to get a hard cover and add it to my little library!

Wow! What a beautiful, well written book! This book kept my 9 year old daughters attention the entire time. We both loved the story of this authors journey across the world! The vibrant photos brought the story to life and we are excited to purchase a hardcover copy when it is available! This will be a wonderful gift as well! 5 stars for this unique and charming book!

This book beautifully captures the story of immigration from a child's view. An authentic tale of a family's happy reunification and a child's wonder of snow.
